Stephen Colbert threw a series of harsh insults at President Donald Trump on the “Late Show” Monday, ostensibly to defend the honor of fellow CBS employee John Dickerson.
Colbert took issue Trump’s quip in an interview Sunday that he loves Dickerson’s show “Face The Nation,” but sometimes calls it “Deface The Nation.” During the same White House interview, Trump abruptly ended the discussion after Dickerson pushed for answers to whether Trump still believes former President Barack Obama wiretapped Trump Tower.
“John Dickerson has way too much dignity to trade insults with the President of the United States to his face. But I sir, am no John Dickerson,” Colbert said. Colbert then let loose a volley of carefully crafted zingers directed at the president. “When you insult one member of the CBS family, you insult us all. Bazinga.”
Colbert started the string of jokes with “Mr. President, I love your presidency, I call it ‘Disgrace The Nation.’ You’re not the POTUS, you’re the ‘gloat-us.’ You’re the glutton with the button. You’re a regular ‘Gorge Washington.’ You’re the ‘presi-dunce,’ but you’re turning into a real ‘prick-tator.'”
At one point, Colbert said “In fact, the only thing your mouth is good for is being Vladimir Putin’s cock holster.”

Colbert concluded his monologue with one last zing: “The only thing smaller than your tax returns are your hands.”
