Rachel Maddow Says They Have Trump’s Tax Returns

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow said that she has “Trump tax returns,” in a tweet just hours before her Tuesday night program.

The left-leaning cable television host has focused on connections between President Donald Trump and the Russian Federation is recent weeks. Questions regarding the 2016 Trump campaign and Russia have dominated cable news programs.
President Trump has broken with tradition by refusing to release his tax returns, something every president has done since Richard Nixon.
It is unclear as to the extent of information obtained by Maddow, who only said “We’ve got Trump tax returns,” which is noticeably different than stating “We’ve got Trump’s tax returns.”
