Trump Surprises Lawmakers With A Very Special Gift

Republican lawmakers at the GOP retreat in Philadelphia, Penn. received a very special gift: a pair of Trump socks.
The socks have a picture of President Donald Trump, and bear the message, “starting on the right foot for the 115th Congress.”
The socks were in the official gift bag given to lawmakers, but Politico was unable to confirm if the socks were supposed to be an official part of the gift package.
The Trump socks could be intended to combat a long-term fundraising item for the Republican National Committee. The so-called “Bush socks” are a copy of the socks former President George H.W. Bush wore during his time in the White House. they held his signature and came in several bright colors.
