Penn State Professor Was Pushed Off 80-Foot Cliff, Police Arrest 2nd Suspect For His Murder

A second person was arraigned for the death of a once-missing Penn State professor after the instructor was allegedly pushed off an 80-foot cliff.
The body of Ronald Bettig, the communications teacher at the state university, was discovered in a quarry by Pennsylvania State Police Friday, reports the Centre Daily Times.
Law enforcement charged 39-year-old George Ishler Jr. of first and third degree murder after accusing the man of driving Bettig “to the quarry under a ruse” and pushing the man to his death.
The state authorities were given the missing persons case Wednesday, according to State College police Lt. Keith Robb.
Danielle Geier, 32-year-old of Lemont was also arraigned for allegedly being a co-conspirator in the plot, according to 6ABC News affiliate. Police assert that Geier and Ishler killed Bettig because they believed they would receive assets from his death after Bettig signed a will recently.
