Sirius XM’s Megyn Kelly defended Piers Morgan Wednesday after Daily Wire editor emeritus Ben Shapiro criticized him for having critics of Israel on his show.

Shapiro accused Morgan of inviting “actual Nazis,” such as Dave Smith and Nick Fuentes, on his program, which prompted Morgan to say that Shapiro is a “propagandist” for Israel. Kelly said on “The Megyn Kelly Show” that Shapiro disingenuously attacked Morgan for interviewing those who criticize Israel.

“There was absolutely no point in attacking [Morgan], making an issue of Piers Morgan and [Shapiro] has been attacking him ever since,” Kelly said. “Just because he platformed ‘one guy you don’t like’ in the midst of many others who are espousing your view. I guess they have to have a monopoly on Piers’ show which you don’t control and I guess you’re very upset about it.”

During a segment of “The Ben Shapiro Show,” Shapiro aired clips of Morgan interviewing such guests without airing his pushback against their claims.

“To suggest that Piers just allows somebody like Nick Fuentes to come on without challenging him, it’s just like, so disingenuous,” Kelly continued.

Kelly confirmed during her AmFest appearance in December that her friendship with Shapiro ended after he accused her of downplaying Candace Owens’ conspiracy theories. She told Vanity Fair soon after that conservatives who are staunchly pro-Israel, including Shapiro, were “fueling the rise of antisemitism” by allegedly attempting to “censor criticism of Israel.”

Kelly also argued that it is wrong for Shapiro to label others as antisemites and try to kick them out of the conservative movement because they disagree with him over Israel.

“How many people have to go? Truly, how many people must be pulled from the conservative movement in order to make Ben happy? This is ridiculous and it’s not just Ben, there are others who take his lead once he calls you an antisemite or says you need to be kicked out of polite society … But he’s got some influence with some crew,” Kelly said. “This is so wrong. So good for Piers Morgan for fighting back, I am completely on Team Piers. And I’m sorry to see Ben going in this direction.”

Morgan said on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” Monday that he wanted to hear both sides of the argument and has never shied away from challenging those he has interviewed. He also accused Shapiro of pushing cancel culture on anyone who did not agree with his views on Israel.
