Blue City Council Shuts Off Black MAGA Supporter’s Mic As He Complains About Illegal Immigration

The Philadelphia City Council turned off the microphone of a black constituent who expressed opposition to illegal immigration and efforts to thwart operations by United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during a Thursday meeting.

The council was considering a resolution asking Democratic Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania and Republican Sen. Dave McCormick of Pennsylvania to oppose additional funding for ICE, citing incidents that occurred during the deployment of hundreds of DHS personnel to Minneapolis during its meeting. During the meeting, John McCauley of the group “Flip Philly Red” addressed the council.

“My name is John McCauley. I’m with a grassroots organization called Flip Philly Red. We’re here to give something different to Philadelphia, something that y’all are not used to because you’ve been voting Democrat for the mayor’s office for the past 70 years,” McCauley said. “It’s not MAGA who’s doing all of the carjacking and the shootings. When we talk about ICE, when 78 million people, seven swing states including Pennsylvania, we voted for this. We voted for this. We gave a mandate. So I want to sit here and tell U.S. Senator John Fetterman, U.S. Senator Dave McCormick to vote yes and support H.R. 7147.”

“I sit here in disgust as I watch Kendra Brooks, Jamie Gauthier hold up pictures of a domestic terrorist, Renee Good. I’ve never seen her put up a picture of Dakarra Thompson, a 19-year-old who was raped and murdered by an illegal alien and thrown over a bridge,” McCauley continued. “I’ve never seen her put up a picture of Laken Riley, who was raped and murdered. I’ve never seen her put up a picture of Larissa Thompson, a mother. I named two black women by the way, and y’all sit here and pander to white liberal women like Renee Good.”

Cell phone video taken by the ICE agent who fired the fatal shots at Good on Jan. 7 apparently shows her appearing to ignore commands from other ICE agents before backing up her car, looking right at the agent and accelerating toward him after her girlfriend shouted, “Drive, baby, drive!” A council member asked McCauley to speak on the resolution.

“I’m speaking on all of it. It’s my, my First Amendment right,” McCauley responded. “I’m going to speak. “It all goes hand in hand because we funded, wanted to fund, we want a fund to deport 20 million illegal aliens that was imported in here by the Biden and Harris administration with the help of the cartels. So, I want y’all stand up for Americans for once because America comes first.”

“Thank you for your opinion. Thank you very much,” the council member said after cutting McCauley’s microphone off.

Democratic District Attorney Larry Krasner of Philadelphia vowed to prosecute ICE agents in January in the aftermath of Good’s shooting.
