The reason for the investigation is still unknown and team officials are working to get more information, according to NBC 4.
Washington Football Team’s Head Coach, Ron Rivera, worked with Vermillion for nine years for the Carolina Panthers and says he still has trust in the head trainer, according to the team’s website.
“The only thing I can say about Ryan is, I know who Ryan is. Last year I trusted Ryan with my health and I would do it again,” Rivera said in an interview with NBC Washington.
“We’ll stick to the statement that’s been made, and we’ll focus in on playing football and try to stick to that,” Rivera said in the interview when asked whether players have inquired about the investigation.
