WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was charged Thursday with 17 additional counts related to the publication of classified documents the government says revealed the identifies of confidential human sources.
The charges are in addition to an April 11 indictment against Assange for allegedly conspiring with former Army private Chelsea Manning to hack into the classified computer systems of the Defense Department.
