Dutch police shot and arrested a suspect after two people were stabbed at an Amsterdam railway station in an attack with as yet unclear motives.
Police said via Twitter that the two victims and the suspect have been taken to the hospital. The name of the suspect has not yet been released. Authorities said it is unclear whether it was a terrorist attack.
Authorities closed the central tunnel beneath the station’s tracks after the stabbing.

The stabbing incident occurred close to noon, local time, in Amsterdam. A Dutch news station reported that the incident followed an argument.
