Emily Carby, senior airman at Colorado’s Buckley Air Force Base, started a petition on Change.org to bring Chick-fil-A restaurants to various military bases across America.

The petition, “Bring Chick-fil-A To Military Base Installations,” received nearly 53,000 signatures as of Friday and set a goal of getting 75,000.

Carby wrote Chick-fil-A is “one of the most wholesome, happy and beloved fast food chains to exist in America today,” and listed the fast food chain’s five core values: customer first, personal excellence, continuous improvement, working together and stewardship.

She praised the management style and the staff for always working with a smile, and having impeccable “manners.”

“Their ice cream machine is never broken,” she wrote in a possible swipe at chains like McDonalds. “Never have I seen a cancerous, viral fight video leaked to WORLDSTAR involving any of their employees. Also, when have you ever met someone who didn’t like Chick-Fil-A?”

Carby called on her fellow military members to support the petition so they can replace the older “outdated fast food chains which currently dominate almost every single BX.”

A Chick-fil-A spokesman told Fox News the restaurant is not planning to expand its business into military bases at the current time.

“We will continue to look for ways to serve great food and remarkable service while supporting the military locally with events such as Military Appreciation Night, in-restaurant commemorations and more,” the spokesperson told Fox News.
