Authorities have identified the five people killed in the horrific newsroom shooting at The Capital-Gazette in Annapolis, Maryland Thursday.
In a Thursday night news conference, police namedthe five victims killed by the suspect identified as Jarrod Warren Ramos. The victims were all employees at The Capital-Gazette: four journalists and one sales assistant.
In the press conference, police made it clear that they would respect the victims and would only release information they could officially confirm.

The five people killed were identified as Wendi Winters, Rebecca Smith, Robert Hiaason, Gerald Fischman and John McNamara.

Authorities did not officially name the shooter in the Thursday night press conference.
