An Uber driver who didn’t want two women making out in his car had his license suspended, according to ABC7-WABC Tuesday.
Ahmad El Boutari, an Uber driver in New York City, kicked lesbian couple Alex Iovine, 26, and Emma Pichl, 24, out of his car after they briefly locked lips during the drive from Brooklyn to Manhattan Saturday, according to ABC7-WABC. The driver told the women to stop, claiming that kissing in an Uber is illegal. The driver then pulled over and forced the two women out of his car, the New York Post added.
“It went from shock to anger,” Iovine said to ABC7-WABC. “We had leaned over and peck kissed, and then a couple of minutes later, the driver abruptly pulled over.”
“I think for both us it was just a shock, not really knowing what to say,” Pichl added. “He started aggressively coming at us. That’s when we pulled out our phone.”
The video shows the women trying to inquire why they were forced out of an uber for kissing.
“You are not allowed … it’s disrespectful … it’s disrespectful. I don’t want to argue with you. Just get off my car,” El Boutari said in response, according to the New York Post reported. The driver also tried to grab the phone out of Pichl’s hand.
