Briefly leaving their translators behind, President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un went for a post-lunch walk, during which the president touted the progress being made at the summit.
Having concluded the one-on-one meeting, the expanded bilateral meeting and the working lunch, the two leaders took a stroll around the Capella Hotel on Singapore’s beautiful Sentosa Island. Trump and Kim were seen chatting as they walked together.

Kim can apparently speak English, although the extent of his language abilities is unknown, but there are reports circulating that Kim might have actually greeted Trump in English when they first met earlier in the day Tuesday.
During his walk with Kim, Trump told reporters the summit has gone “better than anybody could have expected,” adding that there has been a lot of progress. He described the meetings with the North Korean leader as “really, really positive.”
The president suggested there will be a signing ceremony at the end of the summit, hinting at a joint statement to conclude this historic event. The details of any potential statement remain a mystery at this time.
