Dennis Rodman will be in Singapore for President Donald Trump’s unprecedented summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un next week, the legendary basketball star confirmed on Twitter Friday.
“I will be flying to Singapore for the historical Summit. I’ll give whatever support is needed to my friends, @realDonaldTrump and Marshall Kim Jong Un,” Rodman wrote, confirming a thinly-sourced yet apparently accurate report from the New York Post.

Rodman’s trip to Singapore is being sponsored by the marijuana-related cryptocurrency operation PotCoin, which sponsored the basketball star’s most recent trip to North Korea.
“I like him. He’s a nice guy. No, he was not invited,” Trump said Thursday, responding to rumors that Rodman will be in Singapore. Invited or not, it seems he plans on being there for the big event.
Rodman, a NBA player whose star status is enshrined in the Hall of Fame, may very well be the only person who can call both the president and Kim friends. The Worm, as he is called, bonded with Trump on the apprentice, and he has made around half a dozen trips to North Korea, where he hung out with the young despotic leader of North Korea. On one trip, he was reportedly permitted to hold Kim’s newborn child.
During his most recent trip to North Korea last year, he gave Kim a copy of Trump’s book “The Art of the Deal.” He has been a strong advocate for the peace process, urging the two sides to come to the table for negotiations.
Please don’t take what I’ve said out of context. I am friends w/ both @realDonaldTrump & Kim Jong Un and I believe in a positive future between us and North Korea. President Trump is the perfect leader for the job! I am sending love out to both & strongly believe both want PEACE
