A vase found in an old shoe box in France is set to go for around $600,000 in an action this June, according to Agence France-Presse Tuesday.

An artifact belonging to Qing dynasty Emperor Qianlong from the 18th century is set to go up for sale on June 12 at the Paris branch of Sotheby’s auction house, the international news agency reported. This rare porcelain vase called “Yangcai” features deer and trees, with a colorful design on the top, according to Sotheby’s press release. Qianlong who originally possessed this piece of art was also known for being a large patron of arts during the dynasty.

“We didn’t like the vase too much and my grandparents didn’t like it either,” one of the owners told Agence France-Presse. However, the owners contacted Sotheby’s auction house earlier this year about the artifact.

“Chinese art has been admired and collected across Europe for centuries, but the importance of certain pieces is occasionally lost over time,” Henry Howard-Sneyd, Sotheby’s chairman of Asian Art for Europe and the Americas, said in a statement.

Howard Sneyd also advised people to search their attics since they might unknowingly have other important Chinese artifacts.
