A co-founder of ice cream company Ben & Jerry’s was arrested Saturday during a protest over F-35 fighter planes.

Authorities arrested Ben Cohen and three other protesters for repeatedly violating the city’s noise ordinances during a protest against basing F-35 fighter planes in Vermont, reports Fox Business.

Cohen and other protesters played the sound of jet noise from speakers in the back of a truck, which they said was intended to demonstrate what it would sound like if the fighter jets were based at the Burlington International Airport.

“Of course, that’s exactly the point,” Cohen said when people began complaining about the noise coming from the speakers.

Cohen and his fellow activists were released shortly after their arrest.
