REPORT: Active Shooter At Florida High School

Authorities reported a shooting and more than one fatality at a high school in Parkland, Fla., Wednesday afternoon.

The Broward’s Sheriff Office said the shooting occurred at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland. Margate Fire Chief Dan Booker reported at least one fatality, reported The Miami Herald. Florida Sen. Bill Nelson said there were multiple casualties on Fox News.

CBS Evening News released a video containing audio of the shooting:

The suspect is reported to be a white male in a burgundy shirt, according to NBC Miami. The school is on lockdown.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office reported at least 14 victims. Stoneman Douglas has 3,208 students and 129 teachers.

President Donald Trump also tweeted his condolences for the victims’ families.

An apparent student trapped in the building tweeted out what appear to be pictures of a Stoneman Douglas classroom. Other individuals can be seen in one of the pictures.
