A female Air Force technical sergeant was suspended Monday night after filming a Facebook rant about black females under her leadership.
Tech. Sgt. Geraldine Lovely’s Facebook video rant, posted Sunday, on her annoyance with black women working under her and their “giant attitudes” quickly went viral, reports The Washington Post.
Lovely, a 99th Force Support Squadron member at the Nellis Air Force Base, is seen in the video expressing frustration with what she feels is “no respect” and constant attitude coming from black females in her unit.
“It pisses me the fuck off that they have no respect and constantly having an attitude. What the fuck is up with that? Like I’m trying my best to hold my professionalism with them. But good God, they have no fucking respect what so ever,” she said, later adding “They’re talking down to me. I’m trying to tread lightly as a higher ranking NCSO not blow the fuck up cause I’m not trying to start a fight club. Why is it that every time I encounter my subordinates who are black females, they have a giant fucking attitude?”
Nellis Air Force Base officials reported that Lovely had been removed from her position pending an investigation into the video. They are currently examining whether Lovely’s video is part of a “broader issue on the base.”

Leadership are exploring disciplinary actions and are checking to see if this is a broader issue on the base.
