Study: Conservatives Are Hotter Than Liberals

Conservatives are more aesthetically pleasing than liberals, according to two political science professors who conducted multiple surveys to obtain their results.
Published in the Politics and Life Sciences Journal, the Cambridge University Press December 2017 study — “Effects of Physical Attractiveness On Political Beliefs” — finds that attractive males and females identify as political conservatives.
“Controlling for socioeconomic status, we find that more attractive individuals are more likely to report higher levels of political efficacy, identify as conservative, and identify as Republican,” Susquehanna University Professor Rolfe Daus Peterson and Illinois State Professor Carl Palmer posit in their abstract. “These findings suggest an additional mechanism for political socialization that has further implications for understanding how the body intertwines with the social nature of politics.”
