President Donald Trump vowed once again to “put America first” during his Friday address at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
Trump returned to the familiar line after describing the economic growth America has experienced since his inauguration. In a nod to international cooperation, Trump tempered his “America first” message by emphasizing the degree to which American success translates into success for the world.
“I believe in America. As President of The United States I will always put America First. Just like the leaders of other countries should put their country first also. But America first does not mean American alone.”
