Police have apprehended a suspect allegedly involved in a Tuesday morning high school shooting of at least five students.
Officers have in custody the suspect in a shooting of at least five students at Marshall County High School in Benton, Ky., reported CBS News. Republican Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin reported that there is “one confirmed fatality.”
“Tragic shooting at Marshall County HS,” said Bevin. “Shooter is in custody, one confirmed fatality, multiple others wounded….Much yet unknown….Please do not speculate or spread hearsay….Let’s let the first responders do their job and be grateful that they are there to do it for us.”
