Dem Rep Says Trump Presidency Is A ‘Threat To Entire World’

Georgia Democratic Rep. John Lewis sounded the alarm over the Trump administration posing a “threat” to the entire world when appearing on David Letterman’s new show.
Lewis, talking with Letterman on his Netflix show “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction,” said he believed recent actions by President Donald Trump was also a “major setback” for black people and the world at large.
“It is a major setback to the hopes, the dreams and aspirations of a people. Not just African Americans, but all Americans, because I think what has happened in America today is a threat not just to our own country, but to the planet,” Lewis told Letterman.
Lewis has repeatedly spoken out against the president, once declaring he is “not legitimate” shortly before Trump was inaugurated.
“I don’t see this President-elect as a legitimate president,” the Democratic representative told a NBC News anchor in January 2017.
