Bill Kristol Can’t Resist Praising Oprah, Supports 2020 Run

Host Ari Melber was discussing Oprah’s Golden Globes speech, that has led many speculate she may be running for president in 2020.
“Can I honestly look at you and say that she’s less qualified to be president than Donald Trump? I cannot,” Kristol said.
Kristol called Oprah “impressive,” before comparing her to Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Vermont’s Independent Sen. Bernie Sanders.
“She’s an impressive woman, it was an impressive speech,” Kristol said. “She has a better connection, I think, with middle America than Elizabeth Warren. She’s more charismatic than John Hickenlooper or a lot of those other candidates. She’s got more good sense on economics, from my point of view, than Bernie Sanders.”
When asked if Kristol would vote for her he was noncommittal and said, “I don’t know her views on a lot of these issues … I think she would be a formidable candidate.”
