Travis Luke Dominguez was indicted for threatening to kill President Donald Trump in December, while the president was visiting the man’s home state of Utah.
Dominguez, 33, was charged on an 11-count indictment filed in Salt Lake City District Court, that included two counts of threatening the life of the president, Politico reported Wednesday.
He is also facing five counts of “maliciously conveying false information” related to wanting to “kill, injure, and intimidate individuals” in several other parts of Utah, according to Politico.
Dominguez is quoted in the indictment claiming to be a Navy Seal who woke up one day with a desire to murder the commander-in-chief.
“I’m a Navy Seal … I woke up and decided going to kill the president Donald Trump today. Please forgive me and then I will die by suicide by cop,” he said. “I’m going to kill the sexist racist homophobic President Trump today. Nothing you can do to save President Trump nor stop me pigs.”
