A statue resembling President Donald Trump has been spotted in a shopping mall in China in light of the Chinese New Year.
Since 2018 is “The Year Of The Dog,” a mall in Taiyuan, China decided to display a giant statue of a white dog that resembles Trump. The statue of the dog has Trump’s signature hair style and mimics the president’s hand gestures with his index finger pointed upwards, a pose Trump often does while speaking.

“The Year Of The Rooster” was in 2017 and Trump was celebrated with a 36-foot tall rooster statue thatt resembled the then president-elect. No other U.S. president has been portrayed as a zodiac animal throughout the country. (RELATED: China Is Putting Up A Statue Of Trump. It’s Not A Good Thing)

Although Trump blasted China for manipulating currency and criticized their trading practices on the campaign trail, Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were reportedly treated like royalty on their first official visit to China.
The President of China, Xi Jinping, also granted Trump and his wife a rare dinner at the Forbidden City during his trip to China in November, an honor that has not been given to a foreign leader since the founding of the People’s Republic of China 68 years ago.
Trump also praised the meetings he had with the Chinese president on his trip, describing them as “very productive.”
