President Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr. and other Trump campaign officials reportedly received an decryption key and web address for hacked WikiLeaks documents in a September 2016 email, obtained by congressional investigators.

The Sept. 4 email, described to CNN by multiple sources and verified by Trump Jr.’s attorney, was sent two months after WikiLeaks published hacked Democratic National Committee (DNC) emails and one month before Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta’s emails were made public.

Trump Jr. reportedly told the House Intelligence Committee Wednesday that he does not remember the email, which also offered campaign officials access to former Secretary of State Colin Powell’s emails, which were published by a Russian front group 10 days later.

Investigators are determining whether or not the account was legitimate, according to CNN.

An individual by the name of “Mike Erickson” is listed as the sender. Congressional investigators are working to verify the sender’s identity and determine what, if any, is his affiliation with WikiLeaks.

Trump Jr. previously disclosed messages he exchanged with WikiLeaks on Twitter, sent less than three weeks after the email in question.
