Katie Couric Said Matt Lauer Used To Pinch Her In The Ass ‘A Lot’

Former “Today Show” host Katie Couric said in a 2012 video that Matt Lauer, the show’s lead host, used to pinch her on the ass “a lot.”
“You co-hosted the Today’s Show With Matt Later for 15 years,” said the host of “Plead The Fifth” in a TMZ video. “What is Matt Lauer’s most annoying habit?” he asked Couric.
“He pinches me in the ass a lot,” Couric responded.

Couric’s comments have been re-upped following NBC’s Wednesday morning firing of Lauer after an employee filed a complaint about his inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.
“Dear colleagues, on Monday night, we received a detailed complaint from a colleague about inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace by Matt Lauer,” NBC News Chairman Andrew Lack wrote in a memo. “It represented, after a serious review, a clear violation of our company’s standards. As a result we’ve decided to terminate his employment.”
