The Las Vegas shooter’s brother is either having a hard time coping, or is one very strange individual.

CBS News posted a video on Tuesday afternoon of an interview with Eric Paddock, gunman Steve Paddock’s brother.

“When Steve can do this, we are in deep s**t! Because there is just nothing there. You find me where someone who is like Steve does this…I hope the hell they find, when they do the autopsy, that there’s a tumor in his head or something,” Eric told reporters. “If they don’t, we are all in trouble.”

“I mean, I’m…my heart is torn — is destroyed for all of these people. But I can’t tell you why Steve did what he did,” Eric said. “It doesn’t…it’s so far from the side of the cliff. From the Steve that I knew.”

Stephen Paddock opened fire on a crowd of thousands gathered in Las Vegas for a country music festival Sunday evening, killing 59 and injuring more than 500. The gunman was identified Monday morning as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock of Mesquite, Nev. Police found him dead in his hotel room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel.

Police recovered 23 guns from Stephen’s room and another 19 from his home, roughly 80 miles from the hotel.

Las Vegas citizens have responded with enormous acts of generosity. Hundreds of people lined up as early as 4 a.m. Monday to donate blood and show their support for the victims and their families.
