Two staffers on Republican Michigan Senate nominee Mike Rogers’ campaign appear to be paid foreign agents for Israel, a report published late Sunday shows.

As former Democratic primary candidate Michigan Rep. Haley Stevens endorsed Rogers over Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed on Sunday, Abigail Ronson — a campaign spokeswoman and paid consultant for Rogers campaign — could be seen standing behind the two politicians. Ronson is one of two registered foreign agents working for the State of Israel on Rogers’ Senate campaign, according to a report from Drop Site News published Sunday.

El-Sayed defeated Stevens by only one percentage point — a closer than expected result — in the August Democratic Michigan Senate primary. AIPAC and its affiliates poured tens of millions of dollars to boost Stevens during the primary — and now the pro-Israel lobby is dedicating millions to help Rogers beat El-Sayed.

Rogers’ campaign did not respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) filings from May show that Ronson is registered as a foreign agent for Israel, doing work for HAVAS Media as under Brad Parscale’s Clocktower X LLC. Parscale is the former campaign manager for President Donald Trump’s 2020 reelection bid and a registered agent for the Government of Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Drop Site reported.

Ronson is not the only Israeli agent or Convergence Media staffer on the campaign. Jesse Stokes, a communications specialist, also registered as a foreign agent in October 2025 as part of the Havas contract and seems to have authored Rogers’ press releases announcing his Senate run, Drop Site found, according to document metadata.

Parscale recruited Ronson — a digital communications specialist at Convergence Media — and 14 other Convergence staffers to disseminate pro-Israel views on social media and even program large language models with pro-Israel information as part of a $46.5 million contract with the Israeli government, according to the outlet. Ronson also contracted with Rogers as part of Convergence Media which earned millions from the Rogers campaign for the 2026 election cycle, per Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings cited by Drop Site.

Ronson appears to have been the mastermind behind the “buff AI” campaign photo of Rogers that went this summer and she also helped organize a press conference for the “Democrats For Mike Rogers” group, according to the outlet’s report.

The Great Lakes Conservatives Fund — the biggest source of funding for a group dubbed “Democrats for Mike Rogers” — donated over $4 million so far and has a history working with Eyesover LLC — an AI company run by Parscale he used for his Israeli FARA work, Drop Site reported.

Parscale accidentally registered Clock Tower X as directly working with Israel in his FARA filings before correcting them to show that his client was instead an Israeli media company, the DCNF first reported in June.
