The wide-ranging cover-up of former President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline and questions regarding his cancer diagnosis, the autopen, and unelected political operatives running the White House must be prioritized and thoroughly investigated by Congress.
The mainstream media conspired with the failing Biden Administration and allowed the regime to be the least transparent in history. This catastrophic dereliction of duty cost our country dearly. So, it’s time for Republicans in Congress – along with any Democrats whose constituents feel betrayed – to take the gloves off and get to the bottom of this fiasco. The American people demand that this important investigation is handled with the sense of urgency it deserves.
Members of the mainstream media are now saying the Biden cover-up could be bigger than Watergate. That may very well be true, but Watergate was only exposed because journalists actually investigated the allegations and uncovered the corruption. In the case of Biden’s mental decline and related matters, the biased media doesn’t appear to be digging any deeper, because they’re too invested in looking the other way.
The bottom line is that if Bidengate is equal to Watergate, it requires a congressional select committee to get the job done right. Let’s face it; the fraudulent one-sided January 6th select committee did great damage to congressional rules and precedent. This is the perfect opportunity for Congress to stand up a legitimate select committee to conduct a serious investigation into an issue that easily reaches the level of a constitutional crisis.
While it’s a starting point for the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee to send interview request letters to former President Biden’s physician and senior members of the White House staff, a much wider net must be cast with the aggressive use of subpoena and deposition authority. And the announcement that the U.S. Senate is planning to hold a hearing on Biden’s cognitive decline on June 18th is also welcome news, but this issue deserves a concentrated bicameral investigation, not duplication. Sworn testimony must be provided by former Vice President Kamala Harris and her staff; dozens of senior West Wing staffers; members of the cabinet; and any other advisers in close proximity to the president and the decision-making process.
As we witnessed for the past four years, the Biden crew is breathtakingly arrogant and believe they’re accountable to no one – including Congress. This is no time for naivety; the people involved in this conspiracy to defraud the United States by manipulating the presidency view congressional oversight as a nuisance and have no interest in cooperating, because frankly, they don’t care what the American people think. Look no further than the open border invasion, defund the police movement and green new scam that they saddled us all with.
So, when the time comes – and it will come sooner rather than later – any non-compliance with document requests, interview requests, and subpoenas must not be tolerated and should be handled using the precedent set during the January 6 probe. During that investigation, the Biden Administration, along with former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Congressman Bennie Thompson, and former Congresswoman Liz Cheney created what’s been coined the “Bannon-Navarro” doctrine. This doctrine requires that anyone who fails to comply with a committee subpoena is held in Contempt of Congress, prosecuted by Interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro, and jailed accordingly. Former Biden officials and staff must be treated the same way as Trump officials and staff. The American people are sick and tired of double standards.
Every four years, the American people elect a president, and they expect a fully functioning chief executive to make the decisions that guide our nation and the world. Unelected bureaucrats, staff, and family have no constitutionally derived authority to assume the powers of the presidency in secret. Millions of Americans observed with their own eyes — watching the Trump-Biden debate and reading Special Counsel Robert Hur’s interview transcript — that Joe Biden was experiencing great cognitive difficulties. The Biden White House, mainstream media, and scores of Democrat leaders chose deception instead of coming clean and doing the right thing. It’s time for Congress to pull back the curtain and show the American people exactly what happened and hold those responsible fully accountable.
