An incredible police rescue of a 3-year-old girl is all caught on a police dashcam.
In the video, New Jersey police force a van to the side of the road and pull in front of it until it stops. Multiple officers can be seen jumping out of their cars and opening the van’s door. They pull a man out of the driver’s seat and throw him to the ground. On the other side of the van, an officer opens the door and pulls out a young girl and quickly runs her away from the van.

“Troopers never know how a suspect will react,” the police say on Facebook. “These types of situations are extremely dangerous and volatile. It could have gone badly yesterday, but thankfully it didn’t. No one was hurt, and that’s the most important thing.”
The troopers heard a girl was reported missing so they sat on the highway to watch for the suspected vehicle. The girl’s father allegedly stabbed the girl’s mother and took off with his daughter.
The troopers saw the vehicle and followed it for about seven minutes before finally making their move to arrest the man and save the girl.
“She was adorable. She made friends with everybody by the time she left,” state trooper Anthony Giunta, who helped with the rescue, tells The Record. “I gave her one last wink on the way out, and she smiled.”
