Twitter users jumped to denounce a tweet expressing solidarity with Republicans in light of the Wednesday attack on a congressional baseball practice that left multiple people on the field injured.
Lawrence Lessig, a Harvard law professor, tweeted out a message of support after reported gunman James T. Hodgkinson shot House Majority Whip Steve Scalise and other staffers at a congressional baseball practice in Alexandria, Va. (RELATED: EXCLUSIVE: Congressional Baseball Shooter Dies At Hospital)
