Popular Comedian Calls Left ‘F*cking Liars’

Comedian Adam Carolla said the left’s about-face on Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Elon Musk showed they were dishonest brokers during a Monday episode of “The Adam Carolla Show.”

Kennedy and Musk have both faced harsh attacks from the left since they aligned with President Donald Trump. Carolla noted on his show that both men had histories of championing traditionally left-wing causes.

“The two biggest tells from the retards on the left is … Kennedy Jr. and Elon Musk. That’s how I know you guys are lying and you have Trump derangement syndrome and we never have to fucking listen to you ever again,” Carolla said. “Because … both guys formerly darlings of the left and the Democrats. One’s a Kennedy, by the way, who made his bones suing Monsanto and all these other big chemical companies and defense contractors and Union Carbide for polluting the environment.”

“So this guy, I mean, you want to talk about a guy who was built in a Democratic pop-a-boner lab, you have a guy with the last name Kennedy, so he already comes from royalty,” he continued. “And he makes his life work suing huge corporations that pollute the environment. So, you love this guy. The other guy invents an electric car, which you love. So, you love Kennedy and you love Elon Musk. And nothing bad was ever said about any of these guys.”

Carolla argued that Kennedy and Musk continued to do work with the Trump administration that the left should have supported.

“Trump gets elected and they go about to do more good work. DOGE: [Department of Government Efficiency] save the taxpayer money, grift and fraud,” he said. “This guy’s going to get red dye number 17 out of Razzles and look into what’s causing every kid to be on the spectrum of autism and all this kind of stuff. But because he was selected by Trump, you then have to attack both of them.”

“And then both of them, one goes from the smartest guy in the world to a dope who’s trying to take food out of children’s mouths or something,” he added. “I don’t really even know what you got to with Elon, but that one seems nuts. So, you’re going to go burn some Tesla dealerships. And then the other one is a madman who wants everyone to die of whooping cough because they didn’t get vaccinated.”

The comedian said “normal” people would recognize that Kennedy and Musk’s goals were admirable and that the left’s attacks on them indicated they were “fucking liars.”

Kennedy was a longtime Democrat and had challenged former President Joe Biden for the 2024 Democratic nomination before announcing in October 2023 that he would run for president as an independent. Kennedy ultimately gave his support to Trump in August 2024.

After previously supporting Democratic candidates, Musk endorsed Trump in 2024 and contributed significant sums of money to back his campaign.

CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten said on “CNN News Central” in March 2025 that Democrats’ views of Musk had shifted massively since 2017.

“He used to be beloved by Democrats at plus 35. Look where it is now. Minus 91 points on the net favorable rating,” Enten said at the time. “That is a movement of over 120 points in the negative direction, falling through the floor.”
