SiriusXM host Andrew Wilkow said on Friday that Democratic Texas state Rep. James Talarico was creepy and made a prediction about his Senate campaign.
Talarico has a long record of advancing his left-wing agenda on schools, including boasting that he taught his students about “global warming,” promoting legislation to mandate teaching diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and opposing restrictions on child sex-change surgeries. Wilkow predicted on Newsmax’s “The National Report” that damaging information about Talarico would come to light in September ahead of the Texas Senate election in November.

“[M]ark my words: There’s something really weird about this guy. There’s a giant skeleton in that guy’s closet that’s going to pop out in September,” Wilkow said. “This guy has creep vibes. Members Only jacket, unmarked van and a bag of candy at the park vibes. There’s something wrong with him.”
Talarico, a former public school teacher who currently attends a Presbyterian seminary, defeated Democratic Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett to secure his party’s Senate nomination. He has also espoused outlandish rhetoric regarding the Bible and God several times during his political career, including arguing that the Bible justified abortion.
“In committee, I listened to 15 hours of testimony about this bill. The worst part, for me, was the number of Christians who used scripture to justify hurting children. Even on this floor today, a member tried to justify a hateful amendment in the name of God’s law,” Talarico claimed during a 2021 debate in the state Legislature on legislation to prevent child sex-change procedures.
Moreover, Talarico said that he loved a group of transgender children whom he called an “inspiration” when asked to name something he loved other than family and friends during a May 11, 2023, episode of “A Superbloom Podcast.”
Furthermore, Republican Texas state Rep. Steve Toth, who defeated Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw during the March 3primary for the latter’s House seat, called Talarico “evil” and asserted he was proof of “a demonic presence in the world” during a March 4 interview on “The Charlie Kirk Show.”
“When I put forth legislation to end the social transition of children, it gets killed by the Democrats,” Toth said. “It’s evil. Talarico is part of that group. I served with James Talarico from 2019 through to today. This guy is as evil as they come.”
