Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk endorsed Rupert Lowe’s pro-deportation “Restore Britain” party in an X post on Saturday.
Musk wrote in the post, “Join Rupert Lowe in Restore Britain, because he is the only one who will actually do it!” Lowe, currently serving as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Great Yarmouth, promised in the announcement video that the party would “make our communities safe again for women and children,” adding, “If that means millions go, then millions go.”
The billionaire also reposted a video Lowe had posted to X on Sunday, announcing that the party “just hit 50,000 members.” A Feb. 14 poll found that Restore Britain would receive 10% of the vote, a fact Lowe mentioned in the post.
“I am increasingly confident that we have a bloody good change of winning the next election,” he wrote.
Musk’s endorsement comes a year after his falling out with Reform UK leader Nigel Farage. The feud began in January 2025 when Musk called for the release of anti-Islam activist Tommy Robinson in an X post. Farage distanced himself from Musk and Robinson according to the BBC, causing Musk to post on X that Farage “doesn’t have what it takes.” In a September 2025 post, he called Farage “weak, runny sauce” and endorsed Advance UK.
Lowe was originally elected to Parliament in 2024 as a member of Farage’s Reform UK Party. He was suspended from the party in March 2025 after allegations of bullying and making threats.
Restore Britain’s website outlines its deportation policy, including a recommendation for “voluntary departures reaching half a million or more per year” and up to 200,000 “enforced removals per year.” Lowe reinforced the party’s message on deportation in an X post on Monday, writing, “Illegal migrants. Gone. All of them. Without apology. Every man, every woman. They will all be deported.”
“It is deportation poetry,” he added.
