A CNN panel on Thursday could not help but mock former Vice President Kamala Harris’ rebrand in an attempt to appeal to young people.

Harris announced in a video that “Kamala HQ,” the former social media hub for her failed 2024 presidential campaign, has renamed itself “Headquarters” and will be used to rebrand itself as a “Gen Z-led progressive content hub.” During a segment on “Inside Politics,” CNN host Dana Bash mocked her new handle, @headquarters_67, for referencing a popular meme in an attempt to attract young people.

“By the way, the handle they’re using, you can see there, we’re zooming in on it … 6-7, as the kids used to say. Well, you know, used to say a lot of things. And I think they also used to say, that’s probably cringe,” Bash said.

“6-7” originated from rapper Skrilla’s song “Doot Doot (6 7)” and often referred to National Basketball Association (NBA) player LaMelo Ball’s height. It acts as ironic meme content on the internet with no literal meaning.

Harris will serve as “chair emerita,” while former aide Rob Flaherty and former KamalaHQ managers Parker Butler and Lauren Kapp “will advise the effort,” for the new rebranding.

The account posted a teaser video on Wednesday, which depicted a log-in screen with messages in the “password” field such as “waytooonline” and “project2025wasreal.” The last time the account had posted any content was on Nov. 5, 2024, the day Harris and her then-running mate, Tim Walz, lost the election to President Donald Trump.
