Conservative YouTuber Goes Off On Left-Wing Commentator For Arguing Against Crackdown On Trans Athletes

YouTuber Black Conservative Perspective rebuked left-wing commentator Jack Cocchiarella for arguing against federal government restrictions on biological males playing female sports during a Thursday debate on “Brad vs. Everyone.”

A majority of Supreme Court justices appeared inclined to support Idaho and West Virginia laws that bar biological males from competing against females during oral arguments on Tuesday. After Cocchiarella argued on the show that that the federal government should not be involved in prohibiting biological males from playing female sports, Black Conservative Perspective pushed back hard.

“It just seems like if there’s a common sense component to this, it’s why is the government wanting to check children’s genitals before they play soccer in sixth grade? … It just seems like complete overreach,” Cocchiarella said. “So what, any parent can come down from the stands, and if you’re like hitting too many threes in the middle of a game, they can just start to question you? It doesn’t really make a lot of sense from a common sense perspective that this is what a political party would be wholly obsessed with spending all their time.”

He also argued that the NCAA and localities have regulated the issue effectively.

The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) did not modify its policy to prohibit biological men from competing in women’s sports until President Donald Trump issued an executive order mandating it in February 2025. Moreover, the Department of Education on Wednesday opened probes into 18 school districts, universities and local education departments for alleged breaches of civil rights laws over policies enabling males to compete in female sports.

Black Conservative Perspective argued that the issue was much more significant than Cocchiarella was making it out to be.

“Now, I’m not sure how many 16-year-old girls need to see penises in locker rooms. How many women in prisons need to be raped? How many women need to lose gold medals and championships for Jack to understand that this is a big issue?” he asked. “This is not a small issue where, ‘Oh, it’s just Republicans and conservatives picking on the trans kids.’ I personally believe that if a 16-year-old girl sees a penis in a locker room, that is a big deal. Even if it’s just one, you have women being sexually assaulted. This is a big deal.”

“And to claim, to claim that people who want to protect girls, 16-year-old girls, just want to check penises when all you got to do is check a birth certificate really shows you how these individuals lack common sense,” he added. “They are detached from reality. There’s a reason why this is an 80-20 issue. Actually, you know what, I don’t even believe that. The only 20% that actually agree with this lunacy, they’re just saying it because they don’t want to be called transphobic. It is a 95-5 issue.”

A January 2025 New York Times/Ipsos poll found that 79% of Americans felt that biological males shouldn’t be permitted to compete in female sports.
