Trump Reportedly Rips Netanyahu Being ‘F**king Negative’ On Hamas Peace Deal Response: ‘This Is A Win’

President Donald Trump reportedly ripped Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after he poured cold water on Hamas’ response to Trump’s proposed peace deal, a U.S. official told Axios Sunday.

Trump had a phone conversation with the Israeli leader just after Hamas responded to Trump’s peace proposal on Friday, during which Netanyahu reportedly said that Hamas’ response was “nothing to celebrate, and that it doesn’t mean anything,” the official told Axios. Trump, who was optimistic about the response, then reportedly responded with rage, asking why Netanyahu was “always so fucking negative.”

“This is a win. Take it,” Trump reportedly told Netanyahu, according to the official.

Netanyahu reportedly saw Hamas’ response as a rejection of Trump’s proposal, while Trump was quick to praise the response as evidence that Hamas was “ready for a lasting PEACE.”

Trump said on Truth Social Saturday that Israel has agreed to the first withdrawal line, which would mark the release of all hostages if Hamas agrees to the proposal. Hamas on Friday said while they agreed to release hostages and relinquish power over the Gaza Strip, that they would need to discuss the finer details in the context of “Palestinian national consensus and Arab and Islamic support.”

Hamas negotiators are set to meet in Egypt Monday afternoon in order to hash out the details of the proposal, according to CNN.

The proposal would call for an international governing body, composed of Palestinian technocrats and under the leadership of Trump and former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, to take over the strip in place of Hamas. Israel would withdraw from the strip to designated demarcation lines in accordance with meeting certain objectives, such as hostage release and the establishment of the new government.
