Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt Monday whether President Donald Trump is “worried” about the quality of medical care available at the White House.

Former President Joe Biden was diagnosed with an “aggressive form” of prostate cancer that has metastasized to the bone, his personal office announced Sunday. In response to Doocy’s question, Leavitt said that Trump has full trust in his physicians and continues to be in excellent health.

“Follow[ing] up on former President Biden, White House doctors may have missed the early stages of his prostate cancer, so is President Trump worried about the quality of care that presidents get here?” Doocy asked

“Not as far as President Trump is concerned,” Leavitt said. “The White House physician we have here is phenomenal and the team of physicians that take care of the president, particularly at Walter Reed Medical Center, are great. The president had his physical recently, as you know. He had perfect results, he’s in very good shape, I think those of you who traveled to the Middle East with us last week can attest to the president’s endurance. And by the way, I will add, we returned from a very long and tiring trip last week and on Saturday, where was the president? In the Oval Office working all day. He doesn’t stop, he doesn’t quit, he’s in great health, and he trusts his physicians.”

Oncologists and medical professionals stated that the advanced stages of the illness indicates that Biden has had prostate cancer for several years. Ezekiel Emanuel, a longtime oncologist, told “Morning Joe” during a Monday segment that Biden may have been suffering from this illness for a decade and most certainly had it during his presidency.

Since Biden received routine check ups, Fox News senior medical analyst Dr. Marc Siegel said Sunday that he was “taken aback” by the “very advanced” state of Biden’s condition, given that he is supposed to receive the best medical care in the world.

Trump’s doctor, Sean P. Barbabella, noted that the president “exhibits excellent cognitive and physical health” and lives an “active lifestyle” following his annual physical in April. Trump weighed 224 pounds, had a blood pressure of 128/74 with a resting pulse of 62 while scoring 30 out of a possible 30 on a cognitive test, according to a released memo on the physical.

Biden’s physical and mental health came into serious question throughout his presidency due to his falls, halting walk and his tendency to appear confused in public settings. New revelations about the former president’s deteriorating health have emerged from “Original Sin,” a soon-to-be released book written by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios’ Alex Thompson, which revealed that White House aides considered putting Biden in a wheelchair at the recommendation of his personal physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor.

White House aides, Democrats and the corporate media all attempted to hide and make excuses for the signs of Biden’s declining physical and cognitive health. Biden’s aides attributed his halting walk to a fracture he suffered in his foot in November 2020, though O’Connor said that the fractures had completely healed, according to Axios, citing Tapper and Thompson’s book.

The aides also did not put Biden in a wheelchair due to the damaging appearance it would have politically, and instead took extra strides to ensure he would not suffer from another fall, according to Axios. He also held the fewest number of press conferences in comparison to his predecessors in the last century besides former Presidents Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon, and frequently refused to answer questions from the press when he appeared in public events.

Tapper, along with most of his CNN colleagues, attempted to discredit concerns about Biden’s health by stating that he is simply old and has a stutter. He notably scolded Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara, in 2020 for stating that Biden was suffering from a “cognitive decline.
