DAVID BOSSIE: Tom Homan Is Going To Fix The Border

President-elect Donald Trump won an overwhelming victory in the historic 2024 presidential election due to across-the-board failures by the incompetent Biden-Harris administration, particularly in the areas of open borders, crippling inflation, and high crime.

However, for tens of millions of Americans, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’s legacy will always be the hubris this undynamic duo displayed regarding our nation’s border security crisis that they deliberately orchestrated.

Outgoing one-termers Biden and Harris — along with their impeached Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas — thought they could get away with pulling one over on the American people with the help of a multi-billion-dollar in-kind contribution from the mainstream media in the form of a massive cover-up of the horrors that were taking place at the border. Thankfully, Americans are smart and caught on to the lies and deception right away. They knew the Biden administration wilted in the face of pressure from the radical left and reversed President Trump’s successful border security policies on purpose. And folks saw with their own eyes the record border crossings, the got-aways, the catastrophic fentanyl explosion, the human trafficking, and the billions upon billions in taxpayer dollars being spent on illegal immigrants.

Because of the disgraceful actions of unhinged Washington Democrats and scores of lawless liberal accomplices who chose to whistle past the graveyard rather than do something to correct their illegal immigration disaster, the American people hired Trump to once again clean up the mess.

That is where the ultimate cop, Tom Homan, comes in. Homan served as President Trump’s Acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in his first term. He has decades of experience dealing with illegal immigration as a border agent, investigator and in senior management. Homan has also served as a police officer; and quite frankly, there is no better person to deal with the devastation the Biden-Harris crowd left behind at our southern border than Homan, our country’s next “Border Czar.”

Trump’s outstanding choice to appoint Homan at this critical time for U.S. national security is in stark contrast to Biden’s cataclysmic decision to give the job to Harris. Over time it has become abundantly clear that Biden installed Harris in the post to manage the invasion. Conversely, Trump hired Homan because, as The Washington Post reported in 2016, “Thomas Homan deports people. And he’s really good at it.”  It is worth noting that the Obama administration honored Homan with a Presidential Rank Award for Distinguished Service in 2015 — an inconvenient fact the left-wing media will try to forget as Tom gets to work making America safe again with Trump by implementing his policy of mass deportation of illegal immigrants who are criminals or threats to national security.

This endeavor is truly massive in scale, but Trump is assembling a highly qualified team to work alongside Border Czar Homan to get the job done for the American people.  Trump’s picks for Homeland Security secretary, attorney general, and FBI director — Gov. Kristi Noem, former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and former Deputy Director of National Intelligence Kash Patel — are all law-and-order minded leaders with wide-ranging experience who will work closely with Homan to secure our border.

As Biden administration officials prepare to leave office, the American people are paying close attention to their every move.  Hardworking American families — in red states and blue states alike — want a return to common sense policies at the border. Any last-minute attempt by the outgoing administration, (like selling border wall panels for pennies on the dollar), to sabotage Trump’s effort to secure our open southern border will be long remembered by voters, and those responsible will be held accountable at the ballot box in future elections.

For the good of the country, it is imperative for border security to become a bipartisan issue again. Keeping citizens safe and secure from foreign threats should be of paramount concern for our political leaders at all levels of government regardless of party affiliation. Blue state governors and mayors looking to curry favor with wealthy radical leftists in exchange for support in future elections by defying Trump’s enforcement of illegal immigration laws are only putting their law-abiding constituents at risk — the opposite of real leadership.

Incoming Border Czar Tom Homan is the ideal leader for the tough job that lies ahead.  He is a patriotic American with a unique skillset who cares deeply for his country and wants to help save it for future generations. We are fortunate to have someone of Homan’s caliber willing to answer the call to service at this important moment in our nation’s history.
