Poet Amanda Gorman’s two books became Amazon’s top sellers less than a day after reciting poetry at President Joe Biden’s inauguration, The Hill reported Thursday.
Gorman, who is also 22 years old, made history as the youngest person to recite poetry at a president‘s inauguration, The Hill reported.
“I AM ON THE FLOOR MY BOOKS ARE #1 & #2 ON AMAZON AFTER 1 DAY!” Thank you so much to everyone for supporting me and my words,” Gorman tweeted Wednesday.
“As Yeats put it: ‘For words alone are certain good: Sing, then,'” Gorman tweeted.
