Former football star O.J. Simpson said he doesn’t “know what’s going on in America” after the House of Representatives voted to table a resolution to impeach President Donald Trump.
The House voted 332-95 to table Democratic Texas Rep. Al Green’s resolution to impeach the president Wednesday.
He posted a video with the caption “Whats happening in America!!!” as he talked about his theories on why the measure failed to pass.
“I get home and I’m watching politics and I see where this one party pushed a measure to the floor that they knew they couldn’t pass — that would’ve made them look divided, which they did,” Simpson, 72, said in the video.

Democrats condemned Trump’s remarks apparently directed at several congresswomen. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called the comments racist.
….and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how….

Trump has since defended the comments, saying the tweets were not racist and calling the controversy part of a Democratic “con game.”
“The other party looked like a team, like they were totally together. They all voted the same way,” Simpson said.
“Maybe whoever pushed this is a double-agent. I don’t know,” he added.
Simpson, who joined Twitter in June, has already amassed around 860,000 followers.
