Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi delivered their response to President Donald Trump’s address Tuesday night, and social media’s fluttering with memes and Snapchat spoofs.
While the Democratic duo addressed a number of items, the partial government shutdown and contention over border wall funding were at the forefront.
“Sadly, much of what we heard from President Trump throughout this senseless shutdown has been full of misinformation and even malice,” Pelosi said — in this video, with fuzzy ears and a heart-shaped button nose. “The president has chosen fear. We want to start with facts.”
