Fiance Of Missing Colorado Mom Arrested And Charged With Murder

The fiance of Kelsey Berreth, a 29-year-old mother who was last seen on Thanksgiving, has been arrested in Colorado.
Authorities arrested Patrick Frazee Friday at his home in Florissant, and court documents show he has been charged with first degree murder, according to Fox 31 Denver.
Frazee was initially reported to have been cooperating with authorities in the search for Berreth, who was last seen shopping with her 1-year-old daughter at a Safeway supermarket in Woodland Park, according to surveillance video that showed her entering the store.

Frazee said he last saw Berreth, a flight instructor, that same day after he picked up their daughter, making him the last known person to see her alive.
Berreth’s employers reportedly received a text from her phone on Nov. 25, saying she wouldn’t be able to work that week. Her fiance also told police he got a text from her the next day, but the contents of the alleged text have not been released, Fox 31 Denver reported.
A week after, on Dec. 2, Berreth was reported missing after her mother, Cheryl, alerted police of her daughter’s disappearance.

Authorities say her phone was tracked and supposedly found in Gooding, Idaho, nearly 800 miles away from her home in Colorado. She reportedly has family in Idaho.
Berreth’s brother, Clint, went to her home in Colorado after her disappearance and said he had reason to believe she did not leave the house on her own accord.
“After arriving at Kelsey’s house […] and combing through her things, we know one thing is certain,” Clint said. “Kelsey did not pack to go anywhere. All luggage is here. Her purse is all that seems to have gone.”
Family and friends started a Facebook page to spread and gather further information on her whereabouts. It was last updated on Dec. 17, but police do not believe she is alive.
“She’s not the kind that runs off,” Berreth’s mother said at a police news conference on Dec. 10. “This is completely out of character. Kelsey loves her God, she loves her family and friends, and she loves her job. She’s reliable, considerate and honest.”
Investigators with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, the Woodland Park Police Department and the FBI were seen leaving Berreth’s house Thursday with large brown bags. A firefighter was also seen entering the home with a ladder, local news reported.
