Dozens of protesters filled Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley’s office in protest of Judge Brett Kavanaugh Thursday to eat dozens of sandwiches and discuss their concerns with the Supreme Court nominee.
The protest comes as Grassley told the lawyers of Christine Blasey Ford, the woman accusing Judge Brett Kavanaugh of high school-era sexual assault, if she wants to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee she must have prepared testimony submitted by Friday morning.
Protesters would not say where they got the sandwiches from, but said they were paid for by their “supporters.” The group would also not tell The Daily Caller News Foundation who was in charge, nor would they let TheDCNF interview them to hear their message.
Kavanaugh is set to testify Monday before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
