House Democrats Again Caught Lying In Fundraising Email

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), the official campaign arm of House Democrats, has once again been caught lying to supporters in a fundraising email.

The DCCC on Thursday sent out a frantic fundraising email signed by Hillary Clinton, who claimed she was “emailing you for the first time since the election — and I’m asking you to donate $1 and your help before the end of month deadline.”

There’s just one problem: the DCCC sent out the same Clinton-signed email four days before, on Aug. 26.

The DCCC again caught misleading in a fundraising email.

The only difference between the two Clinton-signed emails was a line near the bottom listing the number of days left before the end-of-month filing deadline.

The DCCC did not immediately return The Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

Using misinformation in fundraising emails has become a recurring tactic for the DCCC this election cycle.

The DCCC sent out a pair of fundraising emails in May that falsely claimed if the DCCC got enough signatures, President Donald Trump would be “forced” to interview with special counsel Robert Mueller.

The committee pulled a similar trick in June, falsely informing its supporters that enough signatures on a DCCC “petition” would block Russian President Vladimir Putin from visiting the United States.

Petition signees were taken to a fundraising page, where they were asked to “chip in” to help Democrats in the midterm elections.
