The majority of individuals who committed rape or attempted rape in Sweden over the past five years are foreign-born, higher than most other countries.

A report by Swedish public broadcaster SVT shows that 58 percent of all rapes or attempted rapes are from foreigners, the BBC reported Wednesday.

About 40 percent were born in the Middle East or Africa. Individuals born in Afghanistan accounted for just over 5 percent of rape and attempted rape, SVT reported.

The SVT revealed that in more than 80 percent of the cases where the victim did not know the attacker, the attacker was foreign-born. The Swedish police actually banned describing criminals in 2016 over fears of being racist, The Independent reported in January 2016.

Only one in five of foreign-born rapists and attempted rapists were deported, The Daily Caller reported in 2017.

Called the “rape capital of the west” by some, Sweden open its doors in 2015 to a flood of immigrants from Muslim-majority countries like Iraq, Iran, Turkey and Somalia. Of the 162,000 immigrants Sweden brought in the country in 2015, only 494 got jobs by 2016, TheDC reported.

Violent crime is also soaring in Sweden, according The Spectator.

“It’s widely known that gang members are mainly first- and second-generation immigrants,” The Spectator reports. Many immigrant-heavy areas in Sweden are referred to as “no-go zones” because some people can’t “enter some Swedish neighborhoods without police protection.”

The Sweden Democrats, who oppose socialism and mass immigration, have gained a lot of support because of the immigration problem, NBC reported.

The party is expected to win more seats in the government than ever before and could win up to 25 percent of the popular vote, coming in either second or third place.
