Don Jr. Slams ‘Batsh*t Crazy’ ‘Resistance’ Protest In UK

Donald Trump Jr. slammed Friday’s protest against President Donald Trump’s visit to the U.K., which included a “Trump Baby” balloon, saying it “isn’t helping hard working people.”

“If this is the ‘resistance’ I’m really glad I’m on the non-batshit crazy side,” Trump Jr. wrote on Instagram Friday, pairing the strong words with a picture of the baby Trump blimp and a group of flamboyant protesters.

“I do think that normal people will see this nonsense then look at all the amazing economic and job numbers and realize that what [Donald Trump] is doing is working wonderfully and he’s doing what’s right for Americans and the American worker,” Trump Jr. added. “Hate and BS from these resistance morons isn’t a political platform and certainly isn’t helping hard working people pay their bills. I hope you all have a great [weekend].”

Demonstrators gathered in Parliament Square in London Friday to protest Trump’s visit to the U.K., where he met with royalty and government officials.

Animated renderings of the float depicted the baby Trump float towering over all of London in a massive statement against Trump, but the float flew no more than 10 meters (a little more than 32 feet) in the air and was much smaller than expected. Trump opponents paid more $22 thousand for the float.
