Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) protesters marched outside a former Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) director’s home on Sunday in response to his retirement.

“Remember ICE Director Thomas Homan? The guy who said undocumented immigrants ‘should live in fear’? [sic] He retired last week, so we decided to throw him a surprise party!” explained a tweet by the D.C. Metro chapter.

Nearly 100 members stood outside Homan’s Virginia home and chanted, “No ICE, no KKK, no fascist USA,” while a drum beat played in the background. They also held many signs, some of which read, “Abolish ICE” and, “You’ll know no peace, you’ll know no rest — we know your name and your address.”
