Teens Arrested After Allegedly Going To McDonald’s In Stolen Golf Cart

Teens were arrested at a McDonald’s drive-thru in an allegedly stolen golf cart in England at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday.
Two teenagers, ages 19 and 18, were arrested by North Yorkshire police after attempting to go through a McDonald’s drive-thru in a golf buggy, according to The Guardian. The teen driving the cart was arrested based on driving while unfit due to alcohol and theft, The Yorkshire Post added. The two teens were also arrested under suspicion of “taking without consent,” a spokesman also told The Guardian.
“Most unusual job of the night. A Golf Buggy was reported ‘driving’ through the drive through of a popular fast food chain in Catterick. Pre-emptive box utilised to avoid a high speed pursuit,” the North Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Group wrote in a Facebook post. The golf buggy had the words “Club Car” written on the front.
“A few interesting questions for him to answer in interview when sober,” the police also wrote. The McDonald’s visited by the teens is also near the Catterick Golf Club.
The unidentified teens were taken into custody.
